Fantasma Hang-Up

The Fantasma Hang-Up’s were produced by RGE in Brazil in 1983. The Hang-Up’s were a free give-away collectible with Fantasma comic books and fully licensed by King Features Syndicate.

RGE (Rio Gráfica E Editora) located in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, a subsidiary of ‘Grupo Globo’ was founded by Roberto Marinho in 1952, ceasing operations in 1986. For over 35 years RGE published a multitude of comic books, magazines and collectible pop culture related collectibles.

The Fantasma Hang-Up’s measure 4” in diameter and are made of tin. The set is made up of 3 Hang-Up’s and were provided in a clear plastic pack, glued to the front covers of Fantasma comic book numbers 330 thru to 332. A different design was provided with each comic book, with a small hole located at the top of the Hang-Up and the reverse left blank.
