The Phantom Promotional poster was produced by DC Comics, Inc. in USA in 1987. The poster is fully licensed by King Features Syndicate, produced to promote a Phantom comic book mini-series due for release the following year, in 1988.

The one sided poster is printed in full color with a gloss finish measuring 22″ X 15″. It features an illustration by Joe Orlando, Dave Gibbons and Anthony Tollin. The illustration is also found on the cover of the first edition in the mini-series. The poster can be seen below.

The Phantom Promotional poster was sent by DC Comics, Inc. to comic book retailers folded for display in their shop, notify their costumers of the upcoming mini-series.

At the base of the poster, we find King Features Syndicate copyright wording, plus the publisher of the Phantom comic book mini-series, DC Comics, Inc. A year of 1987 is also printed.

The Phantom Promotional poster notes that the four part Phantom comic book mini-series was due for release in February 1988, however the first edition was actually released in May 1988. All four editions in the mini-series can be seen below.
