The Phantom Corduroy Hats were released by Bensons Trading Co Pty Ltd in Australia in 1990. Made in China, the hats are licensed by King Features Syndicate.

Made of 100% Cotton Corduroy fabric, 2 varying colors were released, light purple and black. The hats contain machine stitched embroidery ‘Phantom’ wording at the front in red, in the style as seen on the covers of Frew Publications Phantom comic books in Australia. No other images or words are found on the hats. Both Phantom Corduroy Hats can be seen below.

The Phantom Corduroy Hats contain an adjustable plastic strap at the rear, with a tag found within, noting the producer, copyright information and other manufacture information.
