The Phantom 90th Anniversary Print Set was produced by Sal Velluto and donated to support the non-profit Inkwell Awards at the Hershey Comic Con in the USA in 2026. The set contains three prints which feature artwork illustrated by renowned comic illustrator Sal Velluto and Eugenio Mattozzi. Well-known for his dynamic penciling on high-profile mainstream titles, Velluto brings his signature artistic energy and precise style to capturing the classic, adventurous spirit of the Phantom.
Each print is produced in full color, measuring 11″ x 17″, and are individually hand-signed by Sal Velluto. All prints contain copyright information at the base and are dated 2026.
This set of three 90th-anniversary prints showcases artwork by Sal Velluto and Eugenio Mattozzi, each highlighting different iconic elements of The Phantom’s lore. The first print depicts a confident hero standing arms-crossed in front of the massive, looming entrance of the Skull Cave. The second piece presents a classic interior scene inside the Skull Cave, where The Phantom sits upon the Skull Throne flanked by his loyal companions, his chief advisor Guran standing with arms crossed, and his wolf Devil resting nearby. Finally, the third action-packed print captures the hero riding his white stallion Hero, rearing up with a raised gun as Devil charges alongside him against a backdrop of a erupting volcano. All three prints bear a “90 Years Anniversary” seal at the top, with Sal Velluto’s signature seen at the bottom.
To preserve and present the artwork professionally, these three prints are housed directly within a specially designed custom portfolio containing the “90 Years Anniversary” seal.
