The Phantom Movie Ring Promotion was launched by 7-Eleven in the USA in 1996. The promotion ran in conjunction with the release of the 1996 Phantom movie featuring Billy Zane playing the part of the Phantom and Kristy Swanson as Diana Palmer. The promotion is fully licensed by King Features Syndicate.

The promotion was available only in the USA in 7-Eleven convenience retail stores. A counter top store display card was produced, notifying shoppers that with the purchase of a drink or slurpee, a Phantom ring was provided free of charge. The display card contains print on the one side only, made of cardboard measuring 12” x 5.5”. The front and back of the display card can be seen below.

The Phantom ring provided was made of metal replicating the Phantom’s skull ring, which came in clear see through plastic packaging, void of print. The ring contains an open band, designed for adjusting to the size of your finger. No print or copyright information is found on the ring.
