Fantomens Stora Presentbok (which translates to Phantom’s Big Gift Book) was published by Semic Press in Sweden in 1968. The album style activity book was a one off publication, offered to readers of Fantomen comic books, either to purchase or part of a subscription offer.

The softcover book contains 98 color pages measuring 19cm x 26.5cm in Swedish text. Fantomens Stora Presentbok features a variety of content, including general knowledge articles, comic book stories, comic strips and a variety of activity pages ranging from crossword puzzles to animal quizzes.

Fantomens Stora Presentbok is modeled after The Phantom Annual hardcover book published by World Distributors Limited in the UK in 1968. The UK version contains less pages, 68 pages in full color, also featuring general knowledge articles, comic book stories, comic strips and a variety of activity pages ranging from crossword puzzles to animal quizzes.

Fantomens Stora Presentbok is advertised as part of a subscription offer in Fantomen comic book number 1, published in 1972. The book is provided free of charge if a full years comic book subscription is purchased containing 15 Fantomen comic books. The advertisement sheet was found lose within the comic book, with a return coupon found at the base. We also find Fantomens Stora Presentbok advertised in Fantomen comic book number 7, published in 1973. The book is available for purchase in a full page Fantomen Shop advertisement, requiring the reader to complete a coupon and return it to the publisher with payment.
