A new Phantom comic book, published by Austrian publisher ART:9, is now available for pre-order.

This edition is number four in the series titled ‘Phantom – Die Klassiker‘, which translates to ‘Phantom – The Classics‘, following a similar format as found with the first three comic books. This new edition will contain a softcover with 136 black and white internal pages measuring 29.7cm x 21cm. Although produced in Austria, the comic book series contains German text aimed at German readers and collectors.

Phantom – Die Klassiker #4 will contain three classic Phantom daily stories all written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Ray Moore. The stories published within are:

• The Shark’s Nest – originally published in newspapers from the 25th of July 1937 thru till the 5th of November 1938
• Fishers of Pearls – originally published in newspapers from the 7th of November 1938 thru till the 28th of January 1939
• The Slave Traders – originally published in newspapers from the 30th of January 1939 thru till the 6th of May 1939
