A new Mustanaamio comic book by Egmont Story House is available for preorder in Finland featuring the Phantom.

Titled ‘Mustanaamio: Sormus‘, which translates to ‘Black Mask: The Ring‘, the softcover comic book comprises 104 black and white pages, measures 26cm x 17cm and is printed in Finnish. The Phantom comic strip stories published within are written by Ulf Granberg and illustrated by Jaime Vallvé.

The front cover of Mustanaamio: Sormus can be seen below, illustrated by Jaime Vallvé, originally published on the front cover of Swedish Fantomen comic book number 11, published in 1977.

The description for the comic book seen in online advertisements reads:

The wandering ghost has perhaps never looked more heroic than when illustrated by Spanish-born Jaime Vallvé! This hefty album brings together three classics drawn by Jaime, written by the legendary Ulf Granberg. The book also includes a foreword by Granberg, in which he recalls his collaboration with Vallvé.

The front cover design of the above comic book follows those published in previous years also by Egmont Story House. Below on the right is ‘Mustanaamio: Karpaattien Vampyyri‘ published in 2023, and on the left is ‘Mustanaamio: Kaksoisolento‘ published in 2024.
