The publisher of Fantomen comic books, Egmont Story House, based in Sweden, has announced the forthcoming release of a new comic book series featuring the Phantom.

Titled, ‘Fantomens Historiska Äventyr – 1 – Den förste Fantomen‘, which translates to ‘The Phantom’s Historical Adventures – 1 – The First Phantom‘, the new hardcover comic book series will be published four times per year containing approximately 160 black and white pages with comic strip stories printed with Swedish text.

The announcement for the new series was made via a social media post, with the first edition containing cover art produced by Hans Lindahl. The social media post advertising edition number one can be seen below.
