Hermes Press Announces New Phantom Comics for 2026

Hermes Press, based in the United States, has announced the upcoming release of two Phantom comic books, reprinting classic Daily and Sunday Phantom comic strip stories written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Sy Barry.


The Phantom The Complete Dailies Volume 35: 1991-1993

Contains five complete Phantom stories, “The Jungle Patrol v The Drug Cartel,” “King Bongong,” “Prince Rex and Princess Alicia,” “Blackie,” and “The Attilan Mystery”.

Referred to by comic strips historian Maurice Horn as the “granddaddy of all costumed superheroes,” The Phantom was created in 1936 by Lee Falk. This exciting 35th volume continues the SY BARRY YEARS! We bring you five complete continuities drawn by Sy himself which continues the adventure of The Phantom, Diana, and his two children.

Due for release in January/February 2026.


The Phantom The Complete Sundays Volume 10: 1970-1974

This exciting 10th volume of the full color Sundays continues the SY BARRY YEARS! Five complete continuities drawn by Sy himself which continue the adventures of The Phantom, Diana, and his two children. Also included is a comprehensive essay and documentary materials.

Due for release in February/March 2026.


These editions are expected to be available for pre-order on the Hermes Press website in the near future.
