Starting to appear online for pre-order is the second edition of Bystander, published by the USA based publisher Moonstone Books, which will contain a backup comic strip story featuring the Phantom.

The comic book series under the title of Bystander is a new series by Moonstone Books with edition number one yet to be released, due on the 28th of May 2025, which will contain 32 full color pages.

The second edition in the series is starting to appear online, currently advertised as due for release on the 30th of July 2025. As with the first edition, in addition to the main story not related to the Phantom, this issue will also feature a backup comic strip story starring the Phantom, marking the return of writer Mike Bullock to the character in a noir-style adventure.

The front cover of this second edition can be seen below which features the Phantom on the front cover, illustrated by Sergio Ibanez. This issue introduces a new creator-owned series by writers Steven Grant and Mike Bullock, with internal art illustrated by Sergio Ibanez.
