The Phantom movie lead actor Billy Zane has been announced as attending Supanova Comic Con & Gaming in Australia.

The Phantom movie was release on the 7th of June 1996, an Australian-American superhero film directed by Simon Wincer, staring Billy Zane as the Phantom. The movie also stars Treat Williams, Kristy Swanson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, James Remar and Patrick McGoohan.

Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, held yearly in major cites throughout Australia, have announced that Billy Zane, who played the part of the Phantom in the movie will be attending the Sydney and Perth events, due to be held in June 2025.

Across their social media platforms, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming write:

Supa-Phans won’t want to miss this Hollywood heavyweight in the flesh, known for his titular role in the 1996 cult classic film, The Phantom; and the upper-crust industrialist Caledon Hockley in James Cameron’s masterpiece, Titanic. Having famously delivered a meta performance in the Zoolander duology, Billy recently returned to our screens as himself once more in Amazon’s hit series, The Boys!

Billy Zane will be making several appearances at each event as noted on Supanova Comic Con & Gaming website, including giving a Q&A panel, pose with fans for photos and sign autographs.

• The Sydney event will be held on the 21-22 June 2025 at The Dome, Sydney Showground, 1 Showground Road, Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney NSW 2127.

• The Perth event will be held on the 28-29 June 2025 at Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth WA 6000.
