Lightning Strike, based in Ireland, have announced the released of a new Phantom magazine.

Simply titled ‘The Phantom’, the magazine will contain a mix of comic strips and information centered on the origins and mythos as found in Phantom comic strip stories, featuring artwork from a myriad of Phantom artists. The magazine will be published in full color on gloss internal pages measuring approximately 21cm x 29.7cm.

This first edition contains a striking front cover depicting the Phantom standing in front of the Skull Cave, an illustration by Joel Folda, seen below.

The description of the Phantom magazine seen on the Lightning Strike website reads:

This magazine starring The Phantom is ideal for phans new and old. It features the latest origin story by Tony DePaul and Mike Manley.
