The Brazilian based Mythos Editora have announced the release of a new Phantom comic book, titled ‘O Fantasma Omnibus – A Filha Do Maraja & Outras Historias‘.
Translating to ‘The Phantom Omnibus – The Maharaja’s Daughter & Other Stories‘, the hardcover book will contain 540 pages and measure 17cm x 26cm, with black and white pages found within the comic book. Text will be printed in Portuguese.
The pre-sale advertisement on the Mythos Editora website tells us that the stories found within the book are written by Phantom creator Lee Falk, and the comic strips are illustrated by Wilson McCoy:
The legend of the Ghost Who Walks never dies—it always comes back stronger than ever. This landmark Omnibus features the passing of the art baton from legendary artist Ray Moore to his assistant, Wilson McCoy. McCoy would go on to carry on the Phantom’s legacy for nearly twenty years, helping to cement the character in the popular imagination for decades to come, leaving an indelible mark on comic book history.
This edition is numbered Volume 2, with an assumption that Mythos Editora will be releasing a follow-up edition or editions. This Omnibus style comic book marks the 7th released, with artists featured in past comic books including Ray Moore and Sy Barry.

The front cover of O Fantasma Omnibus – A Filha Do Maraja & Outras Historias can be seen above, an illustration by Wilson McCoy with the Phantom seen in an action pose.
Pre-Orders for the comic book are currently open, with estimated delivery due in November 2024.
