Posted across their social feeds, the Australia based Art of Play have provided a pre-order update on the soon to be released digital game, The Phantom Game.

The game was initially announced in January 2023 with the game completely hand drawn and painted before a 2D side scrolling action beat-em-up digital game is produced. The game will be available on several gaming platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Steam and Xbox.

A few months ago, Art of Play released a second teaser trailer for The Phantom Game.

The social media post details the various options for not only pre-ordering The Phantom Game, but also additional collector merchandise made available for purchase centered on the game. The information provided reads:

DIGITAL PREORDERS

(PS5, Xbox, Switch, Steam) – these start Nov 25th for digital and will run through December. We have TWO awesome packs available and shown in the image attached. We will be teasing out all the different exclusive art over the next 4 weeks. Pre-orders will be available through thephantomgame.com starting 9am ET 25th November. The artist collector boxes will be limited!

DIGITAL RELEASE

(PS5, Xbox, Switch, Steam) – this is now set for Feb 25th 2025. This sits in alignment with all the appropriate licensor approval timeframe and also puts us in a position to make sure the game is polished from out of the gate.

PHYSICAL PRE-ORDERS

(PS5, Switch) – these will start in Feb. We will post updates on all socials as well as thephantomgame.com with details.

OTHER MERCH

Our exclusive Phantom motorcycle vinyl statue will be available as well as a whole stack of other game related items including T’s, hoodies (just in time for the Melbourne summer) and more!

The array of collector merchandise accompanying The Phantom Game includes an Artist Collector’s Box and Print’s, being sold in a limited quantity and numbered. The advertisement notifies us that Artist Print’s will measure 10cm x 16cm, featuring art by Sy Barry, Sal Valluto, Glenn Ford, Luca Erbetta, Anthony Spay, Alex Trpcevski and more.
