In a post on the Comic-Con: The Cruise website, we find a post titled ‘Honoring Iconic King Features Characters‘.

The post notifies us that 3 of King Features Syndicate’s comic characters will be featured on a cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas, leaving from Tampa, Florida, USA on the 5th of February 2025, making a stop at Cozumel, Mexico on the 7th of February 2025 before returning back to Tampa, Florida, USA on the 9th of February 2025.

San Diego Comic-Con: The Cruise is an official licensee of Comic-Con International and is excited to be part of the Comic-Con brand. This 4-day adventure at sea takes place onboard a luxury cruise ship and fuses the iconic Comic-Con experience with an unforgettable and uniquely fan-focused cruise adventure!

Comic-Con: The Cruise will feature the Phantom, Popeye and Flash Gordon, with cruise goers having the ability to attend events themed around these characters on board the cruise ship, with their respective writers, illustrators and on screen actors present, with opportunities to meet them on theme nights and autograph and photo events.

The Honoring Iconic King Features Characters post notes attendees who have worked on Popeye and Flash Gordon, however those who have worked on the Phantom have not yet been announced. The post states on the Phantom:
