The Germany based publisher Zack Edition will be publishing a new Phantom comic book series.

Edition number 1 is titled ‘Die Verschwundenen Base Jumper‘, which translates to ‘The Missing Base Jumpers‘. The softcover comic book will contain 56 color pages measuring 29.5cm x 22cm in German text. It’ll contain comic strip stories written by Bernd Frenz and Janusz Ordon, who are noted on the front cover.

The dynamic front cover is illustrated by Janusz Ordon, which was originally published on the front cover of Fantomen number 13 released in 2023 in Sweden. The front cover of Die Verschwundenen Base Jumper can be seen below.

The description for the comic book seen in online advertisements reads:

Since Lee Falk created The Phantom in 1936, countless authors and illustrators from all over the world have created adventures with the walking ghost. Since 2022, they have included the German author and journalist Bernd Frenz, whose stories, which were created and are being created with various illustrators, are published in this series.
