The Phantom Game Trailer

The Phantom Game trailer has been released on a variety of social platforms, a digital game currently in production by Art of Play in Melbourne, Australia.

The game was initially announced in January 2023, with an anticipated release due at the end of 2024. At this stage, the official games website is reporting that the game will be available on several gaming platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Steam, with Xbox in pending status.

The Phantom Game trailer, running for 1.27 minutes, gives us a fantastic insight on what we can expect from the game. The trailer starts off with the Phantoms historical mythos, for those new to the character. It almost feels like the introduction presented to us by the producers of the Phantom movie released in 1996, with Billy Zane playing the part of the Phantom.

Following the Phantoms mythos introduction, the trailer leads us to what the game will look like from a players perspective. It’s completely hand drawn and is a painted 2D side scrolling action beat-em-up game. The games art is by Anthony Spay. We see the Phantom, accompanied by other characters in a variety of scenes/locations, and we gain a good understanding of what we should expect from the games.

The production of the Phantom Game trailer is professionally produced, drawing both current fans of the Phantom and new ones into something to anticipate by the games release. It’s also a true representation of the Phantom and his mythos, and not amended to suite the game producers agenda.
